For the third year, more than 40 Canfield High School art students’ works of art are on display at the Old North Church art gallery. The exhibit will run through March 24 and is available for viewing at Old North Church from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The church is located at 7105 Herbert Road.

The gallery provides an opportunity for the public to view the students’ works of art.

“The gallery at Old North Church lets the public see all the wonderful talents of our CHS art students,” said Kathryn Bernard, CHS art teacher.

The students’ art work represents several mediums, including abstract, pencil drawings and 3-D.

“Old North Church gives an opportunity to celebrate the beauty of art and the creative expression of anyone in the congregation and artists in the community,” said Tracey Ramun, ONC art gallery manager.

The gallery features different themes throughout the year. Starting March 31, the gallery will exhibit “A Happy Day,” which will feature the creative works of Old North Church’s children’s ministry kids interpreting the Resurrection of Christ.

The exhibit will be on display through April.

The Canfield High School Art Show will be held from 6-8 p.m. May 22-23 in the Canfield High School gymnasium. The event, featuring live music and refreshments, is open to the public.
