Press conference Friday on tougher gun-safety laws at Mahoning Co. Courthouse

YOUNGSTOWN —Mahoning County Prosecutor Paul J. Gains and state Rep. Ron Gerberry of Austintown will join community members at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mahoning County Courthouse, 120 Market St., for a press conference calling on Congress to support stronger gun-safety laws.

The event is part of a nationwide effort called States United to Prevent Gun Violence.
