LABRAE LIVE/Vikings fall in state semifinal

Ahead 49-45, Versailles opened the fourth quarter with an 8-2 run and earned their first state final appearance with a 64-52 victory over LaBrae.

Peyton Aldridge led the Vikings (24-4) with 23 points. Senior Chris Clevenger scored seven points and classmate John Richards six.

Versailles (23-5) will play Ottawa-Glandorf in Saturday’s championship game. Kyle Ahrens and Damien Richard each scored 21 points for the Tigers.
