“Midnight Massacre” and “The Sickness,SDRq two horror films by local directors, will have a casting call from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Best Western Meander Inn, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown. Speaking parts, extras and crew are needed. Actors are requested to bring a head shot. All ages accepted, and no experience is required. “Midnight Massacre” is a futuristic sci-fi horror-thriller directed by Travis Bowen. Robert Z’Dar (“Tango and Cash”) and Daeg Faerch (Rob Zombie’s “Halloween”) are already cast. “The Sickness” is a horror-thriller directed by Joe Mohn. “The King and I,SDRq Crown Theater Productions, Main Street Theater, 5 N. Main St., Columbiana, auditions from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. Cast calls for men, women and children age 5 and up. Script reading and singing are required for adults. Singing and talking will be required for children. Performances will be June 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23.
