MAHONING COUNTY

Austintown: Easter egg hunt, 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Austintown Baptist Church, 1180 S. Raccoon Road. Games, prizes and food.

Austintown: Easter event from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Austintown Dairy Queen, 146 N. Canfield Niles Road. Event will include egg coloring, live rabbits, lunch and pictures with the Easter bunny, candy filled eggs, and prizes.

Austintown: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road, hosts an event including an egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday for toddlers through elementary ages. It will take place rain or shine.

Boardman: A “Bunny Brunch” will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Vista Center of Boardman, 830 Boardman-Canfield Road. The event will include food, photos with the bunny, a storyteller, egg hunt, prizes, live rabbits, and entertainment by Sugar Tree Alley.

Boardman: Bunny Photo Experience through March 30 at the Southern Park Mall’s center court. The Easter bunny will be available for pictures. “Caring Bunny” visit, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday. Photos with the Easter bunny will be offered to children with special needs in a subdued environment.

Boardman: Resurrection Celebration from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive. For children through grade 6. Video, snacks and crafts followed by a visit from the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt.

Boardman: Easter Egg and Goodie Bag Hunt on Saturday at Boardman Park. For children 8 years old and under. Bring your baskets. Dress for the weather. 10 a.m. for ages 2 and under at the Bocce Court; 10:15 a.m. ages 3-4 at Master’s Pavilion; 10:30 a.m.; age 5 to 8 at the baseball field. Free admission.

Boardman: Dinner with the Easter bunny, 5:30 p.m. March 27-28 at the Lariccia Family Community Center. Tickets may be purchased at the park office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets are $6 for Boardman residents and $7 for nonresidents. Under 18 months is free. Includes dinner, arts and crafts and family photo with the bunny.

Boardman: Easter Eggstravaganza and Easter egg hunt from 1 to 4 p.m. March 30 at Boardman Park in the Maag Theater area. Event will include bounce houses, live music, food, and giveaways.

Campbell: Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Optimist Club of East Suburban Youngstown, 1 p.m. Saturday, Community Center at Roosevelt Park. Children age 2 to 10 from the communities of Lincoln Knolls, Campbell, Coitsville and Lowellville are welcome. The Easter bunny will visit. Prizes will be awarded in three age brackets.

Canfield: Egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. March 30 on the green in front of Dairy Queen for newborns to 10 years old.

Mineral Ridge: Community Easter egg hunt at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Briarfield at the Ridge, 3379 Main St. Hosted by the Easter bunny.

North Jackson: Kiwanis of Western Mahoning County Annual Egg Hunt at noon March 30 at Liberty Park. For children through grade 6. The Jackson-Milton Key Club will assist with this project.

North Lima: Spring Eggstravaganza from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 30 at the North Lima Business and Shopping Complex, 11836 South Ave. The Easter bunny will visit. There will be an egg hunt at 1 p.m., raffles, food, basket auction, and a petting zoo. Most shops will be offering sales and Easter candy for the kids.

Poland: Easter egg hunt, games and treats at 11 a.m. Saturday inside Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road. No baskets necessary.

Poland: Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday at Poland Town Hall gazebo sponsored by Poland Junior Women’s Club. For children through grade 4.

Struthers: Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Marion Council No. 3813 of Campbell-Youngstown, 1 p.m. Saturday, Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St. For children up to 12 years. Guests must bring their own bags.

Youngstown: YSU Slavic Student Association Easter Egg Decorating Workshop, 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Kilcawley Center, Youngstown State University. Polish artist Lawrence Kozlowski will lead an egg-painting workshop. All materials will be provided; guests can make and take their own decorated eggs.

Youngstown: The Wick Park Neighborhood Association, with the support of city council members Annie Gillam, D-1st, and Nate Pinkard, D-3rd, will host their fourth annual Wick Park Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. For children ages 1 through 12, egg hunt registration will begin at 11 a.m. at the Wick Pavilion with the hunt starting at noon. Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian. There will be prizes, games, a coloring contest, crafts, and a scavenger hunt. The Easter bunny will attend the event, which takes place rain or shine.

Youngstown: Easter Eggstravaganza at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Wick Recreation Area, 1861 McCollum Road. The Easter bunny will make a special appearance. For children age 2 to 10. Arrive early to find your child’s age group before the start. Rain or shine.

Youngstown: Easter event from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Cornersburg Dairy Queen, 3555 S. Meridian Road. Event will include egg coloring, live rabbits, lunch and pictures with the Easter bunny, candy filled eggs, and prizes.

Youngstown: Easter egg hunt, 1 to 3 p.m. March 29 at ESA Park Apartments in conjunction with the Spanish Evangelical Church, 1110 Kendis Circle. The Easter bunny will visit.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

Brookfield: Easter egg hunt, rain or shine, 10 a.m. Saturday at Brookfield Township Administration Building, 6844 Strimbu Drive. For township residents.

Girard: Easter egg hunt, 3 p.m. Saturday, Girard City Gym, for children 3 through 8 years who live in Girard.

Hubbard: Easter egg hunt, 10 a.m. March 30 at Coalburg United Methodist Church, 1906 Wick Campbell Road. Event will include Easter bingo, egg hunt, and a snack. 330-568-7091.

Liberty: Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Road, will host a free community-wide Easter extravaganza from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be free food, music, balloons, inflatables, giveaways and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Liberty: Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon March 30 at Liberty Assembly, 6779 Belmont Ave. For children through grade 6.

Warren: Spring Kick Off with indoor Easter egg hunt from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Freestyle Karate, 5000 E. Market St. For kids age 12 and younger. Event will also include concessions, goodies, basket raffles, a chance to do board breaking. The Easter bunny will make a special appearance. Proceeds to benefit Relay for Life. 330-883-6150.

Warren: Easter Extravaganza, 10 a.m. to noon March 30, Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road SE. Event will include a petting zoo, Easter crafts and refreshments. Open to all ages.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Salem: Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. March 30 at Flying B Golf Course, 13223 W. Middletown Road.

MERCER COUNTY

Grove City, Pa.: Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Living Center, 400 Hillcrest Ave., for toddlers and children through age 10. Bring your baskets.
