Beaver Twp. park board seeks funding for spring, summer, fall programs

NORTH LIMA — Beaver Township park board is preparing township activities for the remainder of 2013, and an annual sponsorship effort has begun to help fund these programs.

Scott Conway, township park administrator, said the board will host a music-in-the-park series, children’s programs and education series at the Beaver Township Nature Preserve.

“We provide these activities as a service to our residents and the community,” Conway said. “We’re very thankful for our sponsors. Because of them we’ve been able to give our residents and community members worthwhile, family events that they can enjoy right here at home, at no cost.”

A monetary donation to the park board by a group, individual, church, business or organization will earn a sponsorship for the events that will take place through the spring, summer and fall.
