Joshua B. Vigorito, 26, and Jessica Cueva, 27, both of Judyth Street in Weathersfield Township, were arraigned Thursday in Niles Municipal Court on charges of receiving stolen property in connection with burglaries in Trumbull and Ashtabula counties.

Police, who also charged Vigorito with being a felon in possession of a firearm, believe Vigorito is connected to other burglaries in Ashtabula and Trumbull counties.

Judge Danny Thomas of Niles Municipal Court set bond at $25,000 for Vigorito and $15,000 for Cueva.

Police in Ashtabula County contacted the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday saying that a pickup truck had just left Ashtabula County headed into Trumbull County in Greene Township, believed to be connected to a burglary at 8879 Bunker Road in Colebrook Township, Ashtabula County.

A Trumbull County deputy searched the area for the vehicle but didn’t locate it.

Weathersfield police later found the vehicle at Vigorito’s mobile home on Judyth. Vigorito was there and allowed Niles and Weathersfield police to check for anyone else inside.

While inside, they saw two flat-screen televisions on the kitchen floor, but Vigorito didn’t give permission for officers to search the residence for other items, so a search warrant was obtained from Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

In that search, sheriff’s officers from Trumbull and Ashtabula counties, along with officers from Lordstown and elsewhere said they recovered numerous items reported stolen from Lordstown and elsewhere in the two counties.
