Students from nine Mahoning Valley high schools competed in an online business challenge Thursday at Youngstown State University. The winners:

First place, $500 scholarships: John Prebonick, Ethan Keller and Tommy Mason, Champion High School.

Second place, $200 scholarships: Myranda D’Apolito, Ashlee Weaver and Gary Haddle, Poland Seminary High School.

Third place, $100 scholarships: Alex Hatfield, Jason Jankowski and Austin Casper, Southington Chalker High School.
