Modern-art show, sale at Lemon Grove

The Lemon Grove Cafe, 110 W. Federal St., downtown, will host a modern-art show and sale from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday featuring works from a select group of regional artists. “We’re creating a different kind of atmosphere to set us apart from the other area art shows by providing displays of modern, organic works of art that play with your senses a little,” said event director Scott Austalosh.

Artists include MJP Photos, Aaron Chine, Tony Nicholas, Jen Krezeczowski, Courtney Bouchie, Jacquelline Noelle, Jim Taafe, Robbie Nabb, Chris Yambar, Joe Glenn, Francesco Desurante and Melanie Dulrich.

International street-bike stunt rider Scott Caraboolad of the StarBoyz will be present. Caraboolad also is an artist and will be displaying his furniture art, welded from motorcycle parts, repurposed wood and steel. He will sign autographs.
