Wynonna & the Big Noise coming to Mountaineer

CHESTER, W.Va.

Country-music superstar Wynonna & the Big Noise will come to The Harv auditorium at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort on Aug. 2.

Known as one half of legendary duo The Judds, Wynonna with her mother, Naomi Judd, rose to superstardom in the early ’80s.

Much of Wynonna’s success revolves around her solo career, which started with her quintuple platinum 1992 solo debut, “Wynonna,” which spawned four No. 1 hits and was the best-selling country album ever by a female artist at that time.

With her novel “Restless Heart” now in stores, Wynonna recently was revealed as part of the new cast of “Dancing With The Stars.”

Beatles tribute Rain coming to Powers

“Experience the Beatles with Rain,” the internationally acclaimed act, will return to Powers Auditorium for a 7:30 p.m. show March 28.

Rain performs the full range of The Beatles’ discography live onstage, including songs that The Beatles recorded but never performed for an audience.

The act has mastered every song, gesture and nuance of the legendary foursome, delivering a totally live, note-for-note performance.
