Warren man indicted on child-porn charges
WARREN — A Trumbull County grand jury indicted Christopher Rosier, 29, of Homewood Avenue Southeast, on 20 charges accusing him of downloading pornographic images and videos on his computer of children as young as 2.
Judge W. Wyatt McKay set bond at $50,000 today at a hearing in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. Rosier pleaded innocent. He was secretly indicted Tuesday.
Five of the charges accuse Rosier of pandering obscenity involving a minor, and 15 other charges accuse him of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. One of the charges involves bestiality.
If convicted, Rosier could receive up to 18 months in prison on each count.
Warren police assisted with the investigation, which began with the Northeast Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which is run by the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.
