Robotics Competition List of winners

Fifteen teams competed Tuesday in the 15th Annual Northeast Ohio Robotics Education Program Competition at Youngstown State University hosted by YSU’s Office of Associate Degree and Tech Prep Programs. The winners:

High School Division

Best Technical Journal: Mentor High School #1, first place; Lakeland Tech Prep #2, second place; and Lakeland Tech Prep #3, third place.

Best Presentation: Mentor High School #1, first place; Lakeland Tech Prep #2, second place; and Mentor High School #2, third place.

Best Design: Six District Engineering Academy @ Kent Roosevelt, first place; Lakeland Tech Prep #1, second place; and Trumbull Career and Technical Center #1, third place.

Game 1: Six District Engineering Academy @ Kent Roosevelt, first place; Mentor High School #2, second place; and Lakeland Tech Prep #1, third place.

Game 2: Lakeland Tech Prep #1, first place; Six District Engineering Academy @ Kent Roosevelt, second place; and Lakeland Tech Prep #3, third place.

Richard T. Rupe Middle School Division

Best Technical Journal: Poland Middle School, first place; Boardman Glenwood Middle School, second place; and P. Ross Berry Middle School in Youngstown, third place.
