A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Feb. 19

Unauthorized charges: Unauthorized charges totaling $206 from a checking account were reported at a home in the 70 block of Alabaster Avenue.

March 1

Identity theft: An account was opened at a Cleveland bank using the Social Security number of a resident in the 70 block of North Hillside. The account had $400 in overdraft fees.

March 5

Warrants: Sean Cline, 42, of 4853 Darbyshire Court, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of aggravated trespassing and three warrants from Warren and a warrant from Mercer County, Pa.

March 6

Weapons charge: Joseph Bailey, 18, of 13014 Gladstone Road., North Jackson, was arrested on a charge of illegal conveyance of a deadly weapon in a school zone at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield. A student, the suspect had a .22-caliber handgun in the glove box of his vehicle.

March 7

Warrant: Blake Flick, 24, of 323 Lisbon St., Canfield, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

AUSTINTOWN

March 4

Theft: Unauthorized charges were made on an ATM card at a home in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A toolbox with toys was stolen from Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Joseph Rouzzo, 22, of 5870 Webb Road, Mineral Ridge was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

March 5

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Laurelwood Place.

Telecommunications harassment: A person at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive reported that an unidentified person was making calls and breathing heavily.

Theft: A front license-plate was stolen from an auto at Fox Run, 60 N. Raccoon Road.

Aggravated menacing: A male threatened to blow up a building in Youngstown at Advance America, 4429 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted texts and a threatening text were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.

March 6

Warrant: Nicholas Stipicianos, 22, of 3837 Oakleigh Ave., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge.

Theft: Josh McCormack, 23, of 82 S. Raccoon Road, No. 20, was arrested for purportedly stealing food that he reportedly hid under his coat at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Dawn Porter, 38, of 4438 Burkey Road, Austintown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for passing a bad check.

Theft: An auto was broken into at a home in the 1000 block of Wise Lane, but nothing was missing.

Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were reported at a home in the 4000 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A vehicle was loaned to a friend without authorization at a home in the 200 block of Westminister Avenue.

Auto theft: A 1996 Buick was stolen and later recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Child endangering: A female was given narcotics by her mother at a home in the 4000 block of Stark Drive.

Aggravated menacing: There is a suspect in aggravated menacing at Infocision, 5740 Interstate Boulevard.

Identity theft: A fraudulent tax return was filed at a home in the 3000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Burglary: A sweeper was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made over Facebook at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Aggravated menacing: There is a suspect in menacing at Kitchen Mechanic, 168 S. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Steven Carl, 30, of 1280 N. Canfield-Niles Road, Mineral Ridge ,was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.

Theft: A purse was taken from an auto at a home in the 200 block of Elvira Drive.

March 7

Drug offense: Tyler Pearce, 26, of 6760 Ryan Road, Medina, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A .22-caliber rifle was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Drug offense: Blaine Wildman, 22, of 3785 Ayreshire Drive., was arrested on a charge of possession of drug-abuse instruments.

March 8

Warrant: Andrew Burner, 29, of 1135 Arch St., Alliance, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

Theft: $1,000 to $2,000 was reported stolen at Cathe’s Dance Village, 6008 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A trash can was stolen from a home in the 300 block of DeHoff Drive.

Burglary: Forced entry occurred and electronics were taken from a home in the 600 block of Ohltown Road.

Theft: A woman is a suspect in the theft of a 46-inch LCD television at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Stephen Zitello, 22, of 623 W. Heights Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Disorderly conduct: Kevin Sheridan, 21, of 1010 Compass West Drive, No. 2 was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Auto theft: A 1999 Ford Explorer was stolen at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Kevin Williams, 25, of 6376 S. Pricetown Road, Berlin Center, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a complicity charge.

March 9

Weapons offense: Mark Razo, 29, of 4232 S. Pricetown Road, Berlin Center, was arrested on a charge of improper handling of a weapon while intoxicated.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card totaling $180 at a home in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Avenue.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe as stolen from a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: Two packages were taken from a porch at a home in the 7000 block of Ruby Court.

Breaking and entering: A trailer door window was broken but nothing was taken at Frank Ohl Intermediate School, 255 Idaho Road.

Theft: An electric box was damaged and copper wire was taken at Master Park, 5511 Silica Road.

Theft: A Wii was stolen at Game Stop, 5515 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Medication was stolen at a home in the 30 block of Lexington Place.

March 10

Drug offense: Erica Barwick, 40, of 605 Trumbull Ave., No.47, Girard, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Warrant: David Higham, 21, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for theft.

Assault: A woman was punched at Crum Road and Meridian Road.

Disturbance: Family members were in a fight at a home in the 4000 block of Southward Drive.

Counterfeit currency: Counterfeit currency was passed at McDonald’s, 5524 Mahoning Ave.
