Wine and beer tasting to aid families

Homes for Kids and Child and Family Solutions will host the third annual “Cheers to the Children” wine and beer tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. April 12 at Magnuson Grand Hotel Grand Pavilion, formerly Avalon Inn, 9519 E. Market St.

The event will include food samples and entertainment.

Wine- and beer-making displays will be available, and there will be a silent auction and 50-50 raffle.

Mistress of ceremonies will be Amy Radinovic, co-host of WKBN First News This Morning.
