OSHP troopers seize crack cocaine from Cleveland man


CLEVELAND — A Cleveland man faces felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized one ounce of crack cocaine, worth approximately $3,000, after a traffic stop in Cuyahoga County.

Troopers stopped a 1997 Ford Thunderbird, with Ohio registration, for an improper lane change violation in the city at 7:53 p.m. Wednesday. During interaction with the driver, troopers observed marijuana residue in plain view. A probable-cause search of the suspect revealed an ounce of crack cocaine in his possession.

The driver, Willis J. Bell, 31, taken to Cleveland City Jail, and charged with possession of crack cocaine and aggravated drug trafficking, both first-degree felonies.
