Local boxer John Bullock will fight in the main event of Saturday’s Lights Out Productions amateur boxing show at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave.
The card, co-sponsored by Tri-County Wholesale Distributors, will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“Make-A-Wish is very grateful to have the support of Lights Out Productions and the entire Youngstown community,” said Kim Sazima, Make-A-Wish development associate. “The funds raised from the boxing show will be used to grant the most heartfelt wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions in Northeast Ohio.
“Attending the show will be 10 year-old Andrew from Youngstown,” Sazima said. “He remains very excited to see the show and it was his wish to go to Walt Disney World during Star Wars Week that was granted in 2009. The funds raised will be used to make more wishes, like Andrew’s come true.”
