Golf parents meeting required

A required meeting for all parents and athletes trying out for 2013 golf teams will be held on March 18 at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Requirements and criteria for golf team selection is part of the agenda. Fundraising activities will also be discussed. Call coach Santor at 330-261-2217.

ALF chili cook-off set for today

Austintown Little Falcons’ first Chili Cook-off Fundraiser is set for March 9 from 2 to 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Austintown.

The cost is $5 for adults. Kids under 14 eat free. The cost includes pizza, snacks, soft drinks and chili tasting. The cost to enter the cook-off contest is $20. First, second and third-place prizes will be awarded.
