“The Children’s Hour,SDRq a serious adult play about two women who run a school for girls. Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., Youngstown. Auditions at 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Cast calls for six adult roles, age ranging from 25 to 65, and seven children, age ranging from 12 to 16. All parts are open, and diversity is welcome. Auditionees should be prepared to read from the script. Callbacks will be handled on individual basis. Director is Cleric Costes. Performances will be weekends May 10-25. “The Rainmaker,SDRq directed by Sam Luptak Jr., Victorian Players, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, auditions at 2 p.m. March 16 and 7 p.m. March 18. Cast calls for five men age 18 and older, and one woman age 18 to 30. Auditionees will be asked to read from the script. Performances will take place June 7 to 23. The Encore Shop in Liberty is looking for models for a fashion show May 11 at the Women’s Trade Show at the Eastwood Expo Center, 111 Eastwood Mall Blvd, Niles. Casting call is 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Encore Shop, 4427 Logan Way, Youngstown. Needed are women age 13 and older who can fit size 0 to 5X. The 30 finalists will receive goodie bags.
