Mahoning coroner makes ID on skull

YOUNGSTOWN — Dr. Joseph Ohr, deputy Mahoning County coroner, today identified the human skull found Feb. 16 on the city's East Side as that of David Allen Jackson, 26, of Youngstown.

Dr. Ohr said the identification was made through anthropological analysis and confirmed by dental comparisons conducted by Dr. Robert Johnson.

The coroner's office and city police continue to investigate the circumstances of Jackson's death.
