Annual veterans luncheon Friday in Poland

POLAND

The Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities is having its second annual Veterans of the Valley luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road.

The event honors and recognizes service veterans as part of the board’s Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month celebrations. The guest of honor is Raymond J. Braidich, a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
