United Way fundraiser at Thiel College on Friday

GREENVILLE, PA. — The United Way of Mercer County and the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce are jointly hosting a benefit auction Friday in the Howard Miller Center at Thiel College in Greenville. All proceeds benefit the host organizations.

The event has an island theme and guests are asked to wear tropical attire and will receive a lei at the door. An assortment of items will be available to bid on in several auction formats. Items include weekend getaways, jewelry, gourmet food baskets, wine baskets, a golfers' package, theater tickets, zoo tickets, and autographed sports memorabilia.

Tickets are available at the United Way or Greenville Chamber offices. Individual reservations and tables of eight are available by calling the Greenville Chamber of Commerce at 724-588-7150.
