Event will remember War of Independence

YOUNGSTOWN

The 1848 War of Independence will be commemorated at 2:30 p.m. March 17 at Youngstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave.

This event is sponsored by the American Hungarian Federation.

Local musicians will perform traditional Hungarian melodies, and several poems will be recited.

A short film will be shown, and refreshments will be served.
