Trumbull Co. grand jury indicts ex-Harding teacher

A former Warren G. Harding High School mathematics teacher has been indicted on a grand- theft charge by a Trumbull County grand jury.
Lenny Redmond, 40, of Clearview Drive NW, was fired from his teaching job in January 2012 after school officials found that he had taken $46,422 from the high school’s athletic-ticket sales.
Redmond managed ticket sales for the high school from the fall of 2006 to October 2011, when missing money was first discovered.
He paid back $11,384 but still owes $35,038.
He was indicted on one count of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony punishable by less than five years in prison or probation.
