DRS announced a new philanthropic initiative that will provide tens of thousands of dollars in technology equipment and support to local nonprofits. The deadline for nonprofits to apply is today.
The winner of the initiative will be determined through a combination of public vote and the actions of a selection committee.
Applications for the technology initiative are available at www.drsllc.net/nonprofit.
Farmers National educates students

Farmers National Bank has educated more than 1,000 Mahoning Valley high schools students about financial literacy through its EverFiTM Financial Literacy Platform.
Farmers started offering the program in 2012.

TWC launches IntelligentHome

Time Warner Cable has launched its home- management and security system, IntelligentHome, throughout its Ohio and Wisconsin service areas.
The effort started June 17 and will be followed by New York City this fall. The launches will wrap up TWC’s rollout of the new product to all major markets in its service area.
Team NEO to honor Lakeview president
