McDonald's Firemen's Festival starts Wednesday

The 88th annual McDonald Firemen’s Festival will be Wednesday to Saturday on the village green.

The annual parade will be 6 p.m. Wednesday and will travel from the bottom of Ohio Avenue at the steel mill to the top of Ohio Avenue at Marshall Road.

Rides and concessions will open between 6 and 6:30 p.m. after the parade.

The parade will be preceded at 5:45 p.m. with the annual “Run of the Mill,” which starts at the top of Marshall Road and moves down Ohio Avenue.

Entry fee is $12 for pre-registered and $15 the day of the race.

Pre-registration was before June 23 to be guaranteed a T-shirt. The run will benefit the McDonald boys and girls cross country teams.
