Grecko-Chavez wedding set for Hawaii in Sept.

SAN DIEGO

Melissa Grecko and Ivan Chavez, both of San Diego, are engaged.

Her parents are Tom and Kathy Grecko of Youngstown. Parents of the future groom are Gaby and Juan Chavez of San Diego.

The couple are planning a Sept. 21 ceremony in Hawaii. They will reside in San Diego.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University and is employed as a neonatal nurse at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital in San Diego.

Her fiancé earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from San Diego State University and is an emergency- room nurse at a UC San Diego Medical Center.
