City police stop Boardman woman with bag of crack in her mouth

Sandra E. Duckworth, 55, of Boardman, was arrested at 11:10 p.m. Saturday at Market Street and Warren Avenue after an officer observed that she failed to signal when traveling east on Cohasset then south on Hillman.

When she was stopped, she mumbled to the officer, who asked what she had in her mouth. She had a small plastic bag of crack, according to police.

Duckworth was arrested on charges of possession of drugs and failure to signal before change of course and taken to Mahoning County jail.

She will be in Youngstown Municipal Court on Monday.
