Docents needed for steel museum

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor is looking for docents to volunteer at the museum, 151 W. Wood St.

Prospective docents will be responsible for working with area school students and offering assistance for general activities at the museum, commonly known as the steel museum.

In July, docents and Youngstown State University students will conduct a nonintrusive survey consisting of five questions about interests and habits concerning museums. They also will offer assistance to the museum at an open house during the YSU Summer Festival of the Arts on July 13 and 14.
