Cincy police: Man arrested for shooting at SWAT team


CINCINNATI (AP) — Cincinnati police say a man was arrested on charges including attempted murder after he fired a shotgun at SWAT officers trying to serve a warrant at an apartment. No one was injured.

Police say 32 year-old Rico Jones fired the shotgun at officers through the door when they announced themselves as police this morning.

Police say Jones was charged with three counts each of attempted murder and felonious assault, two counts of drug trafficking and single weapons and drug possession charges.

Police say the search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation.
