Boardman man arrested after police raid residence

A Boardman man was arrested Thursday after police raided his Terrace Drive residence.

Jawonn D. Hymes, 22, is charged with felon in possession of a weapon, drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, according to a report.

Police were executing a search warrant at the residence and recovered several items including a .40 caliber handgun, bag of marijuana and nine sedative pills.
