Tam O' hosts juniors Friday; Diamondback deadline Friday, too

Friday marks the fourth stop on the 2013 Greatest Golfer of the Valley junior tour presented by Farmers National Bank.

Forty-five golfers will tee off at Tam O’Shanter Golf Course in Hermitage seeking on of 8 spots in the Greatest finals.

And as we’re gearing up for Friday’s event, Friday is also the deadline to register for the fifth junior stop — Diamondback Golf Course, which tees off Monday (Girls) and Tuesday (Boys). Register at vindy.com/golf.

For the Tam O’Shanter event Friday, players will tee off at 9 a.m. In a shotgun format.

Boys 15-17 will play Par 72, 6,047 yards. Boys 12-14 will play 5,498. Girls will play Par 75, 5,370 yards.
