Kokrak shoots 71 in first round of AT&T National

BETHESDA, MD. — Warren JFK graduate Jason Kokrak shot an even-par 71 in the first round of the AT&T National at Congressional Country Club on Thursday.

The highlight of Kokrak’s first round came when he closed out the front nine with three straight birdies. He is tied for 28th, five shots behind leader Roberto Castro, who opened with a 66.

Kokrak tees off today at 11:53 a.m. on No. 10 with Patrick Reed and Morgan Hoffmann.
