Storms causing problems in Mahoning, Trumbull counties

Emergency services across Mahoning and Trumbull counties were scrambling after a strong storm system rumbled through the area just before 5 p.m.

Crews were responding to reports of wires and trees down, some blocking major intersections, in Warren, Liberty and Youngstown. Trumbull County appears to have taken a lot of wind damage, judging from scanner traffic for downed trees and power lines there.
