Autopsy set for toddler found in pool

CANONSBURG, Pa. (AP) — An autopsy has been scheduled for a 2-year-old boy who died after he was found unresponsive by relatives in an above-ground swimming pool in western Pennsylvania.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco says little Blake Metzger was found about 5:50 p.m. Monday in Canonsburg. He was pronounced dead in the emergency room of Canonsburg General Hospital about an hour later.

The boy is presumed to have drowned.

Canonsburg police and Warco’s office are investigating.
