Shepherd of the Valley- Howland, 4100 North River Road NE, is offering the AAA Safe Driving for Mature Operators Course from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 22 and 24 for drivers 60 and older.

The two-day, state-certified course can qualify attendees for auto-insurance discounts.

The cost is $10 for AAA members, $15 for nonmembers.

Lunch is available daily for an additional cost and lunch reservations must be made when signing up for the class.

Annual cleanup set

The annual midsummer cleanup at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Market St., begins July 8.

All spring decorations must be removed by July 6.

Summer arrangements can be placed in vases at gravesites July 12.
