All Eat’n Park Restaurants will offer 99-cent kids’ meals during its Smiley’s Birthday Party event through July 14.

Each kids’ meal includes a free treat bag with a sticker and tattoo, wristband and a Smiley Cookie, mini-cookie or apple.

The kids’ meals are not valid on breakfast or brunch buffets or on takeout, and kids’ treat bags are available while supplies last. The guest check must include one adult meal.

At the end of the birthday event, each restaurant will choose one entry to win a backyard activity kit filled with Smiley-branded outdoor items. One grand-prize winner will be selected from among all the restaurant winners to win bicycles for a family of four.

Shepherd of the Valley is seeking nominations for its 2013 Valley Legacy Awards.

The awards honor people 60 and older from Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties who deserve recognition for a lifetime of working to improve the Mahoning Valley and individuals who have provided exceptional support to and for older Americans through their professional, volunteer, or civic roles.

Any individual or group can submit a nomination in either of two categories: Outstanding Senior and Outstanding Advocate for Seniors. Nominations must be postmarked by July 31. All nominees and award recipients will be honored at the Valley Legacy Awards Luncheon on Oct. 3.
