SENIOR MENUS

Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, June 26: Porcupine meatballs, mashed potatoes, carrots, tropical fruit, wheat bread and milk.

Thursday, June 27: Chicken drumstick, baked beans, potato spudsters, grape juice, rye bread and milk.

Friday, June 28: Meatloaf with gravy, rosemary potatoes, peas, orange, wheat bread and milk.

Saturday, June 29: Ham and Swiss cheese on a bun, potato salad, mixed fruit, orange juice and milk.

Monday, July 1: Tuna salad on a bun, potato salad, pickled beets, orange juice and milk.

Tuesday, July 2: Sausage with peppers on a bun, spinach, baby carrots, fruit gelatin and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Wednesday, June 26: French toast, turkey sausage, sweet potato, unsweetened applesauce, blueberry muffin, orange juice and milk.

Saturday, June 29: Turkey with cheese, tossed salad, coleslaw, unsweetened fruit, orange juice, regular or sugar-free cookie, bread and milk.

Monday, July 1: Pork loin, seasoned potatoes, mixed vegetables, unsweetened applesauce, grape juice, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Tuesday, July 2: Manicotti with sauce, diced carrots, peas, sliced apricots, grape juice, Italian bread, cookie or angel food cake and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. To make a reservation or for more information, call 330-675-2486.
