SENIOR CITIZENS

Canfield AARP 3104 will have its summer luncheon at 1 p.m. July 1 at A La Cart in Canfield. Reservations are to be made by calling 330-533-3528. The cost is $12.50, and the choice of entr e must be made by Thursday. There will be a bus trip Tuesday to Mansfield for tours of the State Reformatory, Kingwood Gardens, Malabar Farm and Carousel Park; call 330-332-4791. On July 27 there will be a trip to Wooster to see the Ohio Light Opera’s production of “Silk Stockings” featuring songs of Cole Porter. For information call 330-337-7133. Plans also are being made for the following trips: Sept. 17 to Elk, Pa., and Pymatuning venues and Oct. 17 to 20 to Renfro Valley, Ky. More information about these trips will be available at the August meeting. Guests are welcome at the meetings and on the bus trips. There will not be a board meeting in July.

Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzuto will preside. Reports will be given by Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick. Lunch hostesses are Jenny Armeni and Jeannette Armeni. All Commercial Intertech and Parker Hannifin retirees are welcome. Report illnesses to Connie DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church, 1451 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, for fellowship and games. Take a sack lunch. Coffee will be provided.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Ruby Farkas will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation.
