'Celebrate Poland' Friday, Saturday

POLAND

Celebrate Poland begins at 5 p.m. Friday with a strawberry festival and ends at 10 p.m. Saturday with fireworks.

Greg Morrison, event president, said in a release, “We kept hearing the same thing — a lot of people wanted the fireworks on Saturday. So we made the change last year, and everyone seemed to like it. It makes sense to end the festival that way.”

A free shuttle service will be provided to various activities from noon to 4 p.m.

Saturday from Poland Methodist Church, U.S. Route 224. The shuttle runs again from 6 to 11:30 p.m. to and from Poland Seminary High School on U.S. Route 170 and Dobbins Road. For the full story and list of events, read Tuesday’s Vindicator and Vindy.com.
