Salem tee times here; Spectator carts notice

The 2013 juniors series of Greatest Golfer of the Valley presented by Farmers National Bank makes two stops next week. A crowded field of 44 will tee off for Monday’s turn at Salem Golf Club.

Tee times are below.

Practice rounds at Salem are available for players. Fee is $25 for child. An adult joining them is $42. Call Pro Mike Shulas to arrange. Phone is 330-332-0111.

Spectators should note:

Salem WILL NOT be open for cart rentals for spectators. Please be aware of this heading to the course.

This is a unique stop in that the 12-14 divisions will only play 9 holes over Salem’s rugged, hilly terrain.

Be sure to sign up for next week’s other qualifier.

Tam O’Shanter will host Greatest for the third straight year next Friday morning‚ June 28.

That event is a 9 a.m. shotgun start, so spaces are limited. Signups for that will cut off next Tuesday.
