Outdoor Mass scheduled Sunday at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., will have an outdoor Mass at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, and will then proceed with a celebration of the feast of St. John the Baptist with a bonfire to permit parishioners to bring worn, outdated, or broken religious articles that will be burned in an appropriate and prayerful ceremony.

Chairs will be provided for the Mass, which will be celebrated in a tent on the church grounds. The event will also include music and light refreshments. The bonfire celebration begins at 6:30 p.m.
