Canfield Rotary hosting fireworks

CANFIELD

The Annual Fireworks Fest at Canfield Fairgrounds will take place June 29, hosted by Canfield Rotary.

The gates will open at 5 p.m. and the cost is $5 per car for parking.

Fireworks with music will be the feature at 10 p.m.

There also will be fair food, music, games and entertainment for the kids, including eight bounce-a-rounds and face painting.

Local bands J.D. Eicher, Magma Project and Dickey White will perform.

Zambelli Fireworks is supplying the pyrotechnic display. The rain date will be June 30 with the same time schedule.

Return of the Monster Trucks show also will be offered in the grandstand at 5 p.m. for a separate fee, and there will be an opportunity to meet the drivers. Eight 10,000-pound, 1,500 horsepower trucks will compete in freestyle format. Crazy freestyle motocross action will feature X-games superstars Mad Mike Jones and Trevor Vines.
