Woman indicted for leaving kids

YOUNGSTOWN

A woman who is accused of strapping her children in car seats in front of the television while she went to work was indicted Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury.

Kacee Moser, 24, of South Avenue in Beaver Township, was indicted on two counts of abduction and endangering children.

Police say Moser left the children Sunday to go to work at a nursing home on East Western Reserve Road. A woman who was concerned about the children called police, who saw them through a living room window and broke down a door to get them. The children were taken into custody by the county Children Services Board.

Police went to question her at the nursing home but she ran away before they could question her. She turned herself in the next day.

Her case was directly presented to the grand jury.

Those indicted will be arraigned before Judge James Evans next month.
