Teen pleads not guilty after sisters found alone in car at mall

BOARDMAN

The Youngstown teenager charged with child endangering after police found her 1-, 4- and 6-year-old sisters unattended in a car at Southern Park Mall Wednesday has pleaded not guilty.

Kalynn Agosto-Cruz, 18, of Victor Avenue, was free on a summons and Judge David A. D'Apolito continued it this evening on the condition that she has no contact with her younger sisters.

Agosto-Cruz said her sisters are at home with her mother.

"You're to have no contact with the minor children while this is pending," D'Apolito said.

Agosto-Cruz told the judge she "wants to get this over as soon as possible."

Her next court date is pending.
