Ohio couple indicted after child hurt in meth-lab spill
LOGAN, Ohio (AP) — A grand jury in southeast Ohio has indicted a couple after authorities said their 18-month-old daughter was seriously injured in a meth-lab spill.
Authorities said the child was 15 months old when she suffered second- and third-degree chemical burns while living with her parents in Logan in April. She spent two weeks in a Columbus hospital afterward.
The Logan Daily News reports that the couple — Adam Taulbee, 26, and Angela Jordan, 24 — were indicted last week. Taulbee is serving prison time on an unrelated charge, and Jordan was arrested Tuesday.
They are charged with a felony count of endangering children. Details of their legal representation weren’t available.
A witness said the child spilled a chemical into her diaper.
