Ex-Ohio park ranger guilty of recording women

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A former park ranger in northern Ohio has been sentenced to prison after admitting he videotaped women undressing in park restrooms.

A judge in Bowling Green sentenced John Millinger to just over four years in prison today. But he could get out after six months as part of a plea deal.

Prosecutors say the 27-year-old Millinger worked for the Wood County Park District and videotaped the women in park restrooms and other rooms.

Millinger acknowledged the charges and pleaded guilty in May to charges including voyeurism.

The Blade newspaper in Toledo reports that prosecutors say that on one occasion he used a surveillance camera to record a bridal party changing their clothes.

Atty. Jerry Philips said that it’s important that Millinger get the appropriate treatment once he’s released.
