Sunday: The Trumbull County native finished 31st in Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway. He earned $80,435.

Season to date: Before the race, Blaney was 31st in the Sprint Cup standings with 232 points, seven behind David Gilliland.

Next: NASCAR’s top series moves on to Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., for Sunday’s Toyota Save Mart 350. TNT coverage will begin at 2 p.m. Radio station WBBG-FM 106.1 also will broadcast the race.
