Italian Fest is seeking pageant candidates

Applications are being accepted for the 2013 Greater Youngstown Italian Festival Pageant from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2 on Federal Plaza downtown.

Young ladies 16 to 24 can enter if a part of their descent is Italian. Speech skills, singing, dancing or instrumental talent will be judged.

The festival runs from Aug. 2 through 4.
