Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, open exercise at 8 a.m., trip to Hartville at 9, blood pressure checks at 9:30, bingo at 10, painting class at 10:15 and OSHIP social worker at 11:30; Tuesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., Vets Helping Vets and bingo at 10, bridge club at 10:30, line dancing at 11 and car show at 6 p.m.; Wednesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo at 10, pizza party ($3) at noon and movie matinee, “27 Dresses,” at 12:30 p.m.; Thursday, open exercise at 8 a.m., wood carving at 9, yoga at 9:15, SOS at 9:30, beginner crochet at 11, covered dish dinner at 5 p.m. and bingo at 6; and Friday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo and discussion group at 10 and tai chi at noon. Champion S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 445 Mahoning Ave., Champion, has planned the following: Monday, breakfast at 10:30 a.m. ($5 for members/$6.50 for nonmembers) with Ohio Birdwatchers at 10:45; Tuesday-Friday, lunch ($3) at 11:15 a.m.; Tuesdays & Thursdays, arthritis exercises ($2) at 12:30 p.m.; Fridays, cornhole games from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; June 24, Sally Mazy, Senior Circle Program TMH; and July 1, Anna Keck, Home Instead, will speak on senior fraud. Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., has planned the monthly birthday party from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. Bingo will start at 1. All seniors 50 and older are invited, but a reservation is necessary. Everyone 90 and over will receive a red rose. A pasta dinner will be served, and music will be provided by Jane Tobias. Warren S.C.O.P.E. Center, 220 W. Market St., has planned a food for thought luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday with Sally Mazy from Trumbull Memorial Hospital to speak about the Senior Circle Program. Prices are $2 to $3.50. Summer computer classes for Trumbull County seniors who are 60 and older are available at a fee of $2 per class session for a five-week course. Orientation meetings are from 10 a.m. to noon June 26 and 28 All participants are required to attend one of these sessions. Beginners with laptops will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, and those with desktop computers will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Fridays. Intermediate classes will run from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays.
