SENIOR CITIZENS

55-Plus of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Members will dine out after the meeting and card games.

AARP 4611 will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. The executive board will meet at 11 a.m., the regular meeting will be at noon, and a potluck lunch will follow. Take a covered dish. April, May and June birthdays will be celebrated. Girard Oldtimers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Restaurant, Trumbull Road.

Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagles Aerie at 26 W. Wilson Ave. June birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. Tickets for a 50-50 raffle will be sold and an attendance prize awarded. Members will be served a catered picnic-style dinner and play bingo and cards.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Center’s Hope Hall. Use the Youth Center entrance. On the agenda are cards, bingo and a 50-50 raffle. Hostesses Kay D’Apolito, Rose Colella and Ida Miller will serve sandwiches, dessert, coffee and tea. Report any illnesses or deaths to Miller at 330-965-8489. New members are welcome.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Patricia Perio will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. St. Christine Seniors will gather at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parish center with Ruth Infante presiding. Hostesses are Madaline Miller, Kathleen McGinnis, Helen Grodski and Peg Hinchcliffe. Reservations of $7 will be collected for the annual picnic planned for July 17 at the church. Reports will be by Dorothy LoSasso and Carol McClain.
